PHASE # 1MEDIA REGISTRATION AND QUOTA APPLICATION

In this phase, the registration of the media organizations is enabled and the number of quota required for each of the media roles available at the Games is requested.
 
To register your media organization, you must fill out the registration form available below. It is important to keep in mind that you must attach the letter issued by the respective National Olympic Committee of each country, authorizing coverage as a media organization at the Games; and for local media, a certificate of existence and legal representation, with a maximum of 30 days of issuance, or a letter from the director of the organization.
 
The National and International Sports Federations, as well as the Pan American Confederations, must attach the authorization letter, signed by the president.

Step 1: FILL OUT THE REGISTRATION AND APPLICATION QUOTAS FORM

​You will receive a confirmation email, automatically and immediately, with your registration and quotas request. Keep this email carefully as it contains your user information. 

 

Step 3: RECEIVE THE APPROVED QUOTAS EMAIL

The Organizing Committee will analyze your application, approve, modify or reject the quotas, taking into account the size of your organization. You will receive a new email with the confirmation of the approved quotas.

Phase # 2MEDIA STAFF REGISTRATION

The media must register nominally, entering personal data, each professional who will cover the Games, taking into account the quotas approved by the Organizing Committee in phase # 1.

This phase consists of the following steps:

Enter with the username and password of the medium or organization and fill out the registration form for each person who participates. 

 

Phase # 3ORGANIZING COMMITTEE APPROVAL OF THE REGISTERED STAFF

August 25, 2022
The Organizing Committee will review the registrations made by the media one by one and will approve or reject the registration of the staff, in accordance with the criteria of the communications department of the Games. Only if the person is approved, will they be able to obtain their accreditation.

ACCREDITATION DELIVERY

August 25, 2022
To collect the accreditation, the interested party must go to the Main Accreditation Center.

Keep in mind the following organization policies:

  • Your identity document, associated with the registration, will be requested at the time of collecting the accreditation.
  • The accreditation process is personal and non-transferable. It is not possible to collect accreditations from other people.
  • This process has no cost, the first time the accreditation is issued.

Accreditation reissue

  • Any person who has lost a card will need to report it in the main Accreditation Centre
  • In case of loss, you must report it in person at the Main Accreditation Center.
  • The respective complaint of loss of document must be processed before the National Police.
  • For the reissue of the accreditation, the interested party must appear at the Main Accreditation Center with the original identification document, registered in the system and the aforementioned complaint, printed.
